3D projection mapping for facades, vehicles and stage sets

3D projection mapping for facades, vehicles and stage sets across Dubai, Saudi Arabia and the GCC — survey, content production, projector design and show delivery by Orora.

Projection-mapped light patterns wrapping a large architectural facade at night

What we deliver

  • 3D survey and photogrammetry of the real surface
  • Lumen budgets, projector layout and edge blending
  • Bespoke content and animation authored to geometry
  • Redundant media servers with frame-locked playback
  • Alignment, rehearsal and nightly show operation
  • Facade, vehicle, set, water screen and terrain mapping

The survey decides the show

Projection mapping only reads as magic when the content is authored to the actual geometry. We survey the surface first — photogrammetry or scan — then build content against that model rather than cropping a video to fit.

Get this wrong and no amount of polish rescues the edges. Get it right and the building appears to move.

Brightness is a planning problem

Ambient light, throw distance and surface reflectivity set the lumen requirement long before creative choices do. We calculate the budget early so the projector package, power and rigging are sized for the real site, not an ideal one.

For public shows we also model sightlines so audiences never stand inside the beam, and plan blackout or dimming coordination with the venue and authorities.

Where we have mapped

Facades and monuments for national celebrations in Saudi Arabia, vehicle reveals for automotive launches in the UAE, and set mapping for conferences and festivals across the Gulf.

Our archive shows the range, and the tech guide explains how we choose between mapping, LED and kinetic staging for a given brief.

Frequently asked

What surfaces can be projection mapped?
Building facades, monuments, vehicles, product bodies, stage sets, staircases, water screens and terrain. Anything that can be surveyed accurately can be mapped.
How much does 3D projection mapping cost in the UAE or Saudi Arabia?
Cost is driven by surface area, brightness needed against ambient light, projector count and content length. Small vehicle reveals start modestly; large facade shows scale with lumens and content minutes. We give a budget band after a site check.
How long does content production take?
Typically four to eight weeks after the survey and creative sign-off, depending on animation complexity and how much bespoke 3D is required.
Do you provide the projectors and technical crew?
Yes — projector design, blending, media servers with redundant playback, rigging, alignment and on-site operators are all part of the delivery.
